We use Class III Low Level Lasers also know as "Cold Lasers" to increases circulation to nerves and other local tissues. Cold Lasers are very safe because they do NOT produces heat like high power laser that may burn or cut. These specific light waves are also thought to stimulate the chemical, nitric oxide. Nitric oxide plays an important role in increasing circulation and assisting nerve conduction. As expected, each person has a baseline blood flow (circulation) which is unique and thus the magnitude of their response to light therapy is also unique. Age, disease status, exercise status and weight, are among variables that determine baseline flow. These 3 individuals demonstrate different baseline blood flows and each had an increase in blood flow following infrared treatment.
